Job Summary: The Vehicle Acquisition Representative I supports the vehicle acquisition team by assisting in sourcing, evaluating, and processing vehicle purchases. This role involves administrative tasks, research, and coordination to ensure the efficient acquisition of quality inventory.

Requirements

At least one year of verifiable driving experience.
Knowledge of the automotive market and trends.
Valid driver’s license and safe driving record; required to have California driver's license within 30 days following date of hire.
At least one year of verifiable driving experience.
Ability to lift up to 15 pounds.
Ability to perform all essential functions of the job description.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience in automotive sales, administration, or a related field.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Basic knowledge of automotive terminology and market trends.
Familiarity with inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

Assist in identifying potential vehicle acquisition opportunities through online platforms, auctions, and trade-ins.
Maintain accurate records of vehicles acquired, including pricing, condition, and vendor information in the inventory management system.
Liaise with vendors and other dealerships to gather information about available vehicles and facilitate negotiations.
Work with service drive customers to identify and facilitate vehicle trade-in or purchase opportunities.
Offer vehicle upgrade opportunities to Service drive customers to persuade them to trade in their vehicle”
Foster relationships with our Service Advisors to attempt to purchase vehicles that are in for Service
Help with the preliminary assessment of vehicle conditions and histories to assist the acquisition team in making informed decisions.
Conduct test drives to assess their mechanical performance.
Prepare and organize documents related to vehicle purchases, including purchase agreements and title transfers.
Assist in generating reports on vehicle inventory, acquisition costs, and market trends for the acquisition team.
Ensure all acquisition processes adhere to company policies and legal regulations.
Ensure all vehicle acquisitions comply with legal and regulatory requirements.
Maintain satisfactory attendance.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
