As a Vegetable Seed Intern, you will assist with documentation of operational processes within the Manufacturing Excellence Function, work with onsite Manufacturing teams to execute key projects/deliverables in the processing of vegetable seeds, and support field activities including timely stock seeds shipment to growers and stock seeds reconciliation. You will also complete data validation and SAP reports to support global and regional operations, support quality and HSE functions, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and work on business initiatives and optimization projects.

  • Assist with documentation of operational processes within the Manufacturing Excellence Function

  • Support field activities including timely stock seeds shipment to growers and stock seeds reconciliation
  • Complete data validation and SAP reports to support global and regional operations
  • Support quality and HSE functions to drive key programs and targeted metrics
  • Collaborate with cross-functional regional teams and global teams to identify opportunities for improvement
  • Cooperate with Crop Specialist, Field Quality and Production Research personnel to identify, develop and implement projects
  • Work with global and regional teams on business initiatives, standardization, optimization projects
  • Currently enrolled in a junior college or bachelor’s program leading to a degree in an agricultural-related field
  • Valid driver’s license and personal transportation to and from the worksite
  • Ability to build relationships and work well in a team-based environment
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization
  • Self-motivated with a strong results orientation
  • Demonstrated ability to manage a deadline while focusing on details
