About The Position

The Vector Lab function within Cell Therapy Technical Operations (CTTO) is seeking an intern to serve as a technical support for cell culture and purification activities related to the production of Lentiviral Vectors at the Summit CTTO Vector Laboratory. This position is highly cross-functional, building collaborations with Manufacturing, Manufacturing Sciences and Technology, Process Development, Analytical, and Global Regulatory Sciences. This role will report to a Senior Engineer within the CTTO Vector Lab group. The full-time internship will take place June - August 2026.

Requirements

• BSc or MS candidate in STEM field (e.g. chemical engineering, biology, or equivalent)
• Practical knowledge of the technologies related to cell culture and bioprocess engineering
• Interest in hands on laboratory work and experience in working in a biologic lab setting
• Interest in assessing scientific technologies and their applications in the Cell Therapy industry
• Organizes and presents data for internal and external groups
• Effectiveness in both team environments and as an individual contributor with supervision

Responsibilities

• Assist in Design of Experiments (DoE) and execute experiments related to cell culture, vector purification, and media analysis using scale-down models
• Collect, analyze, and interpret data related to executed experiments
• Work aseptically in a biosafety cabinet
• Assist in preparation of protocol studies and reports to support GMP manufacturing activities
• Embody the BMS behaviors and embrace the culture with BMS and the Cell Therapy Technical Operations Organization
