Requirements
- Experience working with small parts, hand tools, and microscopes (required)
- Ability to read blueprints and follow written/verbal instructions (required)
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy (required)
- Ability to lift 5–20 lbs and work in a team environment (required)
- U.S. Person status (citizen, permanent resident, asylee, or refugee) (required)
Nice To Haves
- Tig welding, brazing, and clean room experience (advantage)
- Familiarity with FOD control and geometric dimensioning/tolerancing (advantage)
Responsibilities
- Inspect vacuum envelope mechanical sub-assemblies and final assemblies for quality and accuracy
- Interpret schematics and use measuring tools such as optical comparators, calipers, and microscopes
- Assemble components using small hand tools and precision equipment
- Maintain production flow to meet weekly schedule requirements
- Follow detailed instructions and ensure compliance with quality standards
- Support continuous improvement and maintain a clean, organized work area
