About The Position
The VDC Engineer at Austin Commercial plays a crucial role in implementing and managing Building Information Modeling (BIM) and Virtual Design and Construction (VDC) processes on construction projects. This position involves both administrative and field responsibilities, ensuring that BIM/VDC practices are effectively integrated into project workflows. The VDC Engineer will also be responsible for training project staff, creating and validating models, and leading coordination efforts to resolve conflicts, all while supporting the company's commitment to safety, service, and integrity.
