About The Position

The Designer supports complex construction projects through the creation, maintenance, and coordination of detailed 3D models. This position requires
proficiency
in Revit and collaboration with cross-functional
teams to ensure alignment with project goals. Required experience includes LOD 350-400 Electrical work and experience in electrical trades. The role
is responsible for
ensuring model accuracy, supporting BIM processes, and aiding field operations through remote coordination.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in VDC/BIM and construction modeling.
• Proficiency in Revit is required, with the ability to create and manage detailed 3D models.
• Experience in electrical trades.
• Experience in LOD 350-400 Electrical work.
• Experience with wireless access points (WAP), phones, modeling conduit
• Ability to read and interpret construction documentation.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve design and coordination challenges.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with experience working in remote environments.
• Attention to detail and focus on accuracy in model creation and data input.

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with Navisworks, AutoCAD, and BIM360 is preferred.
• Knowledge of MEP systems and their integration into the modeling process is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain accurate 3D models using Revit, ensuring compliance with project requirements and industry standards.
• Collaborate with external stakeholders, including architects, engineers, and contractors, to ensure consistency and coordination across disciplines.
• Provide support for field operations, ensuring accurate integration of 3D scans and field data into project models.
• Prepare and manage technical documentation, drawings, and schedules required by project teams.
• Ensure the accuracy and quality of all models, adhering to project standards and deadlines.
• Stay current with advancements in BIM and VDC technologies, applying knowledge to improve modeling processes and project outcomes.
• Utilize collaboration tools such as BIM360 to enhance communication and model accessibility.
