About The Position

This non-student hourly, 9-month, part-time, approximately 50% FTE hybrid position, without benefits, provides coordination for the Veterinary Communication for Professional Excellence (VCPE) Communication Courses. Specific assistance is requested in prepping coursework, hosting trainings and communication laboratories, and course closing tasks. The position provides administrative assistance to the two faculty members in the VCPE section.

Requirements

• Associate degree in program/project management/coordination, event or conference planning/coordination, continuing education, business, communication, or related field, OR 2-3 years of related work experience in these areas
• Demonstrated competence in office management, program administration, and event planning
• Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and customer service
• Attention to detail in project management
• Exemplary organizational and time management skills
• Ability to make decisions and to work independently as well as a member of a team and within a well-established framework
• Strong writing and editing skills
• Proficiency in Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point, Zoom, Microsoft Teams, and ability to learn other software and platforms quickly (Canvas, Wordpress, Kuali)
