About The Position

Briarcliff Animal Hospital is seeking a full time Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our team! Our well-established, AAHA-accredited 8-doctor practice is open Monday - Saturday. Our wide range of services include primary care, illness care, soft tissue and laparoscopic surgery, dentistry, ultrasound, boarding, grooming, and much more. We see dogs, cats, and some of our doctors see exotic species as well. Come join our big, diverse, collaborative family. There are many opportunities to learn and grow with us. Requirements

  • Georgia Veterinary Technician license or eligible to obtain
  • Compassion for patients, clients and team
  • Solid knowledge of preventative care, common illnesses and emergencies, veterinary nursing, anesthesia, and dentistry strongly preferred
  • Proficient in technical skills like blood draws, catheter placement, medication and fluid therapy administration, diagnostics, anesthesia
  • Able to lift 40lbs+ and proficient in dog and cat patient handling
  • Proficiency with computers, tablets, electronic medical records
