About The Position

As a Vault Teller you'll be a part of our Vault Operations team that supports our customers. Your focus will be on displaying a high level of customer service, providing a professional, prompt and accurate banking experience. You'll be responsible for building and promoting strong client relationships while accurately completing banking transactions. One of your key responsibilities is to accurately process, verify, and safeguard inbound and outbound transactions while prioritizing daily workflow. Support the Vault Operations Manager in providing a comprehensive, prompt and efficient customer service experience. Maintain an accurate cash drawer and ensures the accurate processing of banking transactions which may include receiving, correcting and processing large deposits. Ensure the appropriate levels of the vault cash are maintained, prepares outbound cash shipments, places orders to prepare for upcoming customer requests and completes all the necessary reports to validate the flow of cash. Assist in mitigating risk, verifying audit compliance, and procedural quality control through a branch operations review. Ensure compliance with established Bank policies, procedures and state and federal regulations. Ability to lift 50 lbs.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of related experience in Branch Banking Operations or similar field
  • High school diploma required
  • Ability to lift 50lbs or more continuously
  • Ability to stand for a long period of time
  • Entry level knowledge of general banking operations, including deposit operations, loan administration, treasury management and/or other commercial banking products and services
  • Entry level knowledge of applicable regulatory and legal compliance obligations, rules and regulations, industry standards and practices
  • Experience and knowledge of handling large cash transactions, bundling, and strapping
  • Large cash operations experience
  • Entry level speaking and writing communications skills
