About The Position

The MR Vault Clerk is responsible for issuing, collecting, transferring, and counting all monies within the Vault department of the LLC, which is wholly owned by The Shawnee Tribe. This position requires compliance with facility policies and standards, ensuring that all monetary transactions are accurately accounted for and documented.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED Equivalent.
  • One year of banking and/or cash handling experience with large sums of money.
  • Ability to read, understand, apply, and retain knowledge of departmental rules, regulations, and policies.
  • Ability to handle/count large amounts of cash using currency and coin counters.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy.
  • May be required to lift up to fifty (50) pounds.
  • Good manual dexterity and hand/eye coordination.
  • Proficiency with 10-key adding machine may be required.
  • Ability to stand, sit, and walk for prolonged periods.
  • Ability to work in a smoke-filled casino environment.

Responsibilities

  • Issue banks to all POS stations and Kiosks to ensure availability of funds for customers.
  • Stack currency manually and sort, count, and wrap coins for accurate accounting of all monies received.
  • Count down all clerks for total monies, subtracting change banks and recording actual amounts on proper forms.
  • Assist with the drop by pulling and replacing canisters from gaming machines.
  • Ensure compliance with facility policies, procedures, and standards, particularly MICS and TICS.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.
