Communication with physicians, patients, and other personnel is essential, requiring a pleasant and informative demeanor. The technician will also engage in teamwork, demonstrating motivation, enthusiasm, and accountability in daily duties, while seeking to mentor and develop others. Maintaining a clean and orderly work area is crucial, including cleaning patient areas after use and notifying supervisors of any equipment or stocking needs. The technician will also be responsible for lab opening and closing procedures and must clean and maintain all equipment according to Hospital Infection Control policies and procedures.
