About The Position

The Echo Sonographer III and Vascular Tech. III positions require comprehensive ultrasound examinations and the ability to follow established protocols for performing and reporting examinations. Requirements

• Skills of Sonographer level 1 and 2.
• Ability to follow protocol-directed and research protocols.
• Consistent initiative to develop professionally and engage positively with the team.
• Demonstrated understanding of patient safety issues and HRO culture.

Nice To Haves

• ASE Membership.
• Experience attending Echo Conferences.
• Experience as a preceptor or providing educational activities/inservices.
• Participation in shared governance and quality improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Performs comprehensive ultrasound exams following established protocols.
• Completes clerical tasks associated with ultrasound tests, ensuring accurate and timely recording of information.
• Communicates effectively with physicians, patients, and other center personnel.
• Enhances teamwork by demonstrating motivation, enthusiasm, and personal accountability.
• Maintains a clean and orderly work area, including cleaning patient areas and equipment.
• Identifies personal learning needs and responds to departmental needs through professional growth activities.
