About The Position

The Echo Sonographer III and Vascular Tech III positions require advanced skills in performing comprehensive ultrasound exams and vascular testing. These roles involve following established protocols to ensure patient safety and education, maintaining accurate records, and communicating effectively with physicians and patients. The positions emphasize teamwork, personal accountability, and continuous professional development.

Requirements

• Skills of Sonographer level 1 and 2.
• Experience with protocol directed and research protocols.
• Ability to identify patient safety issues and demonstrate a high reliability organization (HRO) culture.
• Membership in ASE and participation in educational activities and presentations.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with graft surveillance, arterial duplex, and/or pseudo aneurysm and/or fistula.
• Membership in SVU and involvement in shared governance committees.

Responsibilities

• Performs comprehensive ultrasound exams following established protocols.
• Completes clerical tasks associated with ultrasound tests, ensuring accurate and timely recording of information.
• Communicates effectively with physicians, patients, and other center personnel.
• Enhances teamwork by demonstrating motivation, enthusiasm, and personal accountability.
