About The Position

The Echo Sonographer III position involves performing comprehensive ultrasound exams while adhering to established protocols. The role requires verifying patient identity, ensuring patient education and safety during procedures, and assisting in quality assurance and performance improvement. The sonographer is responsible for completing clerical tasks associated with ultrasound tests, accurately recording testing information, and maintaining patient privacy. Effective communication with physicians, patients, and other personnel is essential, as is fostering a teamwork environment. The position also includes maintaining a clean work area, identifying personal learning needs, and engaging in professional development activities.

Requirements

• Registry through CCI or ARDMS.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic proficiency with computer systems.
