About The Position

The position involves performing comprehensive ultrasound exams while following established protocols to verify, plan, set up, perform, and report appropriate examinations. The individual will verify patient identity and ensure patient education, cooperation, and safety during procedures. Responsibilities also include assisting in quality assurance and performance improvement, completing clerical tasks associated with ultrasound tests, and ensuring that all testing information is recorded accurately and promptly. The role requires maintaining patient privacy and confidentiality while communicating effectively with physicians, patients, and other personnel. The candidate will enhance teamwork, demonstrate motivation and accountability, and engage in problem-solving. Additionally, the individual will maintain a clean work area, assist in lab procedures, and adhere to infection control policies.

Requirements

  • Experience in performing ultrasound exams.
  • Knowledge of established protocols for ultrasound procedures.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with patients and medical staff.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in recording testing information.
  • Understanding of patient privacy and confidentiality regulations.

  • Experience with IAC Standard Protocol & LE, UE Venous, Carotid, PVR.

Responsibilities

  • Make recommendations to supervisor on related duties, policies, and procedures.

  • Maintain a clean and orderly work area and assist in lab procedures.
  • Notify supervisor of stocking needs and equipment issues.
  • Clean and maintain all equipment according to infection control policies.
