About The Position
About Corewell Health Beaumont Troy Hospital In response to the health care needs of a growing community, in 1977, Corewell opened a new 189-bed hospital on rural farmland in Troy. Today, Corewell Health Beaumont Troy Hospital has grown to 530 licensed beds and offers a comprehensive array of health care services, continuing to develop to meet the needs of the growing communities it serves. Scope of the Work Under site designate leader, and according to established policies and procedures performs accurate and efficient Ultrasound exams utilizing appropriate imaging equipment, independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative. Technologists must demonstrate good clinical skills and provide the best possible images for interpretation. Follows Corewell Health philosophy of Patient and Family Centered Care at all times.
Requirements
- Graduate of Diagnostic Ultrasound Program or equivalent.
- Minimal as gained at student level.
- Registered by American Registry Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or Registry eligible, paid at the trainee rate for up to 1 year. If unregistered must obtain at least one (ABD or OB/GYN) within 1 year from hire. Additional registry within two years from date of hire. If registered at hire additional registry must be obtained within 1 year from hire.
- CRT-Vascular Tech-ARDMS-within 1 year from hire for Vascular Department.
- Basic Life Support Certification for Healthcare Providers at hire through the American Heart Association.
Responsibilities
- Performs accurate and efficient Ultrasound exams utilizing appropriate imaging equipment.
- Demonstrates good clinical skills and provide the best possible images for interpretation.
