About the role: The Vascular TCAR Consultant (VCT) is a field-based clinical and sales professional responsible for driving the adoption of Boston Scientific’s TCAR (Transcarotid Artery Revascularization) procedure and supporting the full Vascular Therapies portfolio. This includes key technologies in thrombectomy, embolism management, drug-eluting therapies, and intravascular imaging. This role combines deep clinical expertise with consultative selling, case coverage, and strategic territory development. You will work closely with vascular surgeons, interventional radiologists, and hospital staff to support procedural success, provide impactful education, and grow market share for Boston Scientific’s Vascular Therapies platforms, including the ENROUTE Transcarotid Neuroprotection System and Stent, AngioJet, Zelante DVT, EKOS, IVUS, drug-coated balloons, and peripheral stents. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or technical degree, or comparable experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in medical device or clinical sales, including hospital-based selling.
  • Experience calling on vascular surgery, interventional cardiology, interventional radiology, or neurology.
  • Familiarity with endovascular procedures and technologies (e.g., EVAR/TEVAR, TAVR, TCAR, or peripheral interventions).

  • Experience supporting or converting open procedures to endovascular approaches.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare economics, reimbursement, and value-based selling.

  • Ability to manage a broad product portfolio across multiple specialties and departments.
  • High energy, self-starter with strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Proven ability to navigate complex hospital systems and drive adoption of new therapies.

Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical and technical support during vascular and TCAR procedures to ensure excellent outcomes for Boston Scientific products.
  • Promote and sell a broad range of technologies across arterial and venous disease states, including thrombectomy, embolism, peripheral stents, drug-eluting therapies, and intravascular imaging.
  • Educate implanting and referring teams on indications, techniques, and benefits of TCAR and peripheral interventions.
  • Observe procedures in the cath lab, OR, and IR suite to understand physician preferences and optimize support.
  • Schedule and execute sales calls with current and prospective accounts to meet revenue and case targets.
  • Develop and implement strategic territory plans based on market dynamics, competition, and growth opportunities.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Clinical, and Medical Education teams to ensure alignment on product messaging and support strategies.
  • Establish relationships with hospital decision-makers and clinical stakeholders to influence purchasing decisions and expand product utilization.
  • Deliver compelling presentations, product demos, and in-servicing to clinical teams.
  • Support pricing, contracting, and inventory management in coordination with internal teams.
  • Manage complaints, resolve issues, and uphold a strong standard of customer service.
  • Stay up to date on emerging trends, product innovations, and relevant literature in the vascular space.
  • Maintain accurate sales reports, CRM entries, and territory activity documentation.
