Vascular Technologist - Cardiology
About The Position
The Cardiac Vascular Technologist obtains diagnostic quality echocardiograms and all vascular tests as prescribed by the physician. He/she specializes in echo-cardiology and vascular technology (non-invasive tests). Requirements
- Coursework/Training Successful completion of a vascular ultrasound technology program.
- Upon hire: National Registered Vascular Technologist
- Upon hire: National Registered Vascular Specialist - Cardiovascular Credentialing International
- Upon hire: National Registered Technologist - Vascular Sonography
- Upon hire: National Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer
- Upon hire: National Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer
- Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
- Hospital experience.
- 2 years of recent experience performing vascular ultrasound in a hospital setting.
- Electronic troubleshooting experience.
