Requirements

  • High School Diploma or Equivalency required.
  • Completion Of Vascular Technician Program
  • RVT Required
  • SPI certified required
  • 1 year of experience

Nice To Haves

  • Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) is a plusCertification Preferred (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography, ARDMS)
  • Experience with upper and lower extremity doplarsFamiliarity with venous ablations

Responsibilities

  • Insures that all equipment is in proper operating condition, stored and secured in a designated area.
  • Identifies patient and evaluates for medical precautions: review patient’s case with Clinicianneeded prior to starting vascular testing procedures
  • Maintains all equipment and material in proper order in compliance with the companypolicies and procedure; maintains an orderly and safe lab environment as per departmental
  • Enters all patient demographics and clinical findings in EHR.
  • Prepares final reports for review and signature from medical personnel
