About The Position

A busy vascular practice seeking a Registered Vascular Technician to work full-time at our office-based practice in Rock Hill and Fort Mill, South Carolina. The candidate will be expected to be under the guidance of the Vascular Surgeon in an office-based setting, assisting in the coordination of all activities performed in the Laboratory, including performing vascular imaging studies. Will be expected to perform ultrasound examinations of the cerebral, peripheral, and abdominal vessels to assist physicians in the diagnosis of disorders affecting circulation.

Requirements

• Education Required: Associate Degree
• Experience Required: 1 year clinical setting
• Certifications Required: ARDMS, BLS and RVT; or Registry Eligible with registration required within 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Under the guidance of the Vascular Manager of the vascular laboratory, assists in the coordination of all activities performed in the Laboratory, including performing vascular imaging studies.
• Coordinates and assists in all activities performed in the vascular laboratory.
• Ensures delivery of quality vascular ultrasound studies, acts as an educational resource.
• Performs checks on equipment daily.
• Performs vascular examinations.
• Notifies physician immediately when clinical symptoms and test results reveal a positive outcome.
