About The Position

Outstanding PRN opportunity for an NP/PA to join an established and busy single specialty vascular surgery practice consisting of two vascular surgeons and five APPs. Prior experience in vascular surgery is preferred but not required; however, prior experience with inpatient patient care is required. The practice is in Gastonia, NC, just outside of Charlotte, one of the fastest growing cities in the country. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing practice experiencing robust growth over the last four years.

Requirements

• Prior experience with inpatient patient care is required.
• Experience in vascular surgery is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Direct patient care in the inpatient setting/outpatient setting, including inpatient consults, rounds, first-assisting in the operating room, and seeing follow-up patients in the office.
• Post-op clinic staffed entirely by the Vascular Surgery APPs.
• Operative volume is typically 10-15 open vascular operations per week.
• Coordinating patient care with CaroMont Medical Group.
• Staffing the vascular surgery clinic during the week.
• Coverage for the hospital during the day.
