About The Position

The division of Vascular Surgery and the CardioVascular Center at Tufts Medical Center is seeking a full time Academic Vascular Surgeon to join our vascular surgeons in downtown Boston. Tufts Medical Center is an exceptional, not-for-profit, 415-bed academic medical center, which is home to both a full-service hospital for adults and Tufts Children's Hospital. Conveniently located in downtown Boston, the Medical Center is the principal teaching hospital for Tufts University School of Medicine. We care for an extremely complex patient population with one of the highest case-mix indices in the state. The Division of Vascular Surgery specializes in management of arterial and venous diseases. Our Division has been a long-standing, dedicated vascular practice at Tufts Medical Center since 1966 and continues to treat more than 4,500 patients each year. Our vascular surgeons have used their clinical expertise and research interests to make significant contributions to the field. Our research and clinical breakthroughs include a current clinical trial using stem cell therapy for the treatment of advanced arterial disease (to avoid amputation) when no other treatment options are available. We are also home to a two-year, fully accredited ACGME Vascular Surgery Fellowship Program that provides a complete and seamless educational experience for the emerging leaders in this field. Our group leads vascular services across the Wellforce network including Tufts Medical Center, as well as our community affiliates, Lowell General Hospital and MelroseWakefield Hospital.
