Vascular Surgeon Job Quick Facts: • Specialty: Vascular Surgeon • Job Type: Locum Tenens • Facility Location: Lebanon, PA • Service Setting: Inpatient/Outpatient • Reason For Coverage: Supplemental • Coverage Period: Feb 2, 2026 - Jan 31, 2027 • Coverage Type: Clinical + Call • Shift Schedule: Mon-Fri; 8a-4p - 4-5 times per week • Call Schedule: 2 weeks per month; including weekends • Call Type: Beeper • Patient Demographics: Neonate to adult • Admissions Required: Yes • Rounding Included: Yes • Procedures: - General Surgery: Neonate, Peds, Adult & Trauma - Laparoscopic Surgery: Appendoctomy, Cholecystectomy, Hernioplasty, Nissen Fundoplication - Head/neck surgery (including thyroid) - Chest wall/pleural procedures, & Breast surgery - OBGYN surgery: C-Section, D&C, Hysterectomy - Liver Surgery, GI endoscopy, Minor Orthopedics, Hand Surgery - Ventilation mgmt - Chest tube & Central line insertion - PA Catheter placement - Laser certification - Vascular Surgery: Aneurysm repairs (Thoracic, Abdominal), Arterial bypass, Peripheral Vascular access devices, AV shunt, Plastic Surgery - Pediatric Surg: Artesias, Abdominal wall defects (Gastroschisis), Umbilical defects, Diaphragmatic hernia, Imperforate anus & PDA ligation • EMR: Epic • Required to Supervise APPs: Yes • Hospital Privileges required: Yes • Temporary Privileges available: Yes • Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance covered
Requirements
- Active PA License
- BC in Vascular Surgery
- BLS, ACLS, ATLS, PALS, ABLS
- Fellowship
Responsibilities
- Admissions
- Rounding
- General Surgery: Neonate, Peds, Adult & Trauma
- Laparoscopic Surgery: Appendoctomy, Cholecystectomy, Hernioplasty, Nissen Fundoplication
- Head/neck surgery (including thyroid)
- Chest wall/pleural procedures, & Breast surgery
- OBGYN surgery: C-Section, D&C, Hysterectomy
- Liver Surgery, GI endoscopy, Minor Orthopedics, Hand Surgery
- Ventilation mgmt
- Chest tube & Central line insertion
- PA Catheter placement
- Laser certification
- Vascular Surgery: Aneurysm repairs (Thoracic, Abdominal), Arterial bypass, Peripheral Vascular access devices, AV shunt, Plastic Surgery
