About The Position

Lehigh Valley Health Network, proudly part of Jefferson, is recruiting an attending Vascular Surgeon to assume an established practice from a senior retiring surgeon. The ideal candidate will have an interest and ability in all manners of arterial and venous surgery. Practice locations will include clinic, hospital, OR, and interventional lab privileges in the Scranton, Wilkes-Barre, and East Stroudsburg region of Pennsylvania. There will in addition be clinical opportunities and responsibilities at teaching hospitals in the Lehigh Valley; those locations include vigorous clinical programs in complex aortic surgery, limb salvage, and comprehensive care for venous disease. There will be an opportunity to teach and mentor medical students, general surgery residents, and integrated vascular residents. Similarly, there will be the occasion to conduct clinical research, pursue academic scholarship, participate in regional and national surgical societies, and assume clinical and administrative leadership responsibilities in a financially secure and vigorous regional health care network. While an established and experienced vascular surgeon might be the ideal candidate for this position, all applicants will be considered, including surgeons recently out of training. Requirements

  • Must be Board Certified/Board Eligible in Vascular Surgery, having trained in an integrated vascular surgery residency or vascular surgery fellowship.
  • A valid Pennsylvania Medical License or ability to obtain one is required
