Vascular Sonographer

We strive to set a new bar for patient healthcare through a modern, friendly, and thoughtful approach. We are hiring immediately for a VASCULAR sonographer to join our team in our Johns Creek office. Office hours: Monday-Friday, 8-5, no nights or weekends. Must be ARDMS certified.
Requirements
- Dependable team player is a must.
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
- ARDMS Certification required.
- Some travel may sporadically be required between other HVC offices to cover for PTO and sick leave. Mileage is reimbursed when travelling between offices.
Responsibilities
- Prepares and maintains diagnostic imaging equipment for testing daily
- Performs cardiac and/or vascular ultrasound of the heart chambers, valves, and vessels
- Analyze the recorded images for the physician to review
- Prepare patients for procedure by taking patient’s medical history and answering any questions about the procedure
- Acquires and analyzes data using diagnostic medical ultrasound and related technology
- Check images to verify adequate information was gathered for diagnosis
- Download findings and patient information accurately in Athena
