About The Position

Looking for per diem coverage 7am-3:30pm or 9am-5:30pm, and potentially 3pm-7pm. Under the general supervision of the Lead Vascular Technologist, performs various types of non-invasive vascular testing. Must have knowledge of regulations governing vascular technology and function within the legal boundaries of vascular technology practice in an IAC accredited laboratory.

Requirements

Minimum 1-2 years of vascular technologist experience
Must be able to perform all vascular modalities
Excellent verbal, written, communication, customer service and organizational skills
Completion of an accredited ultrasound school with a focus on vascular technology, and/or on-site apprenticeship with a vascular laboratory
Must be a registered RVT (ARDMS), or CRV (CARDUP – Canadian equivalent)
Ability to effectively communicate to all age levels served within the scope of the position/assigned areas.
Must have the ability to perform the essential functions of the position without posing a direct threat to the health and safety of themselves or other individuals in the workplace, with or without a reasonable accommodation.
Use hands to control objects, tools, or controls, stand or sit for long periods of time, repeat the same movements, on feet for long periods of time, bend or twist body.
