About The Position

The position involves conducting adult ultrasound scans on various patients and collaborating with healthcare providers to ensure smooth clinic operations. The role requires performing examinations with a strong understanding of anatomy and physiology, recognizing the significance of visualized structures, and differentiating artifacts from appropriate images. Additionally, the position entails documenting measurements and reports through Onepacs systems and the EMR system, as well as educating patients and their families about safe and appropriate testing procedures.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience in Vascular Ultrasounds
• RVT Certification, ARRT Certification, ARDMS/RDMS Certification
• Ability to maintain composure under stress, using tactical and good judgment
• Demonstrate analytical decision-making skills; ability to quickly assess and resolve technical and patient care problems
• Ability to work both independently and as a care team member
• Ability to comply with all HIPAA requirements
• Basic computer skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Responsibilities

• Conduct adult ultrasound scans on various patients
• Collaborate and communicate with the provider regarding clinical assessments and the clinic staff to ensure smooth flow within clinic operations
• Perform examinations, recognizing the significance of all structures that are visualized, differentiating artifacts from appropriate images, while recognizing the limitations of equipment and utilizing knowledge of anatomy and physiology
• Responsible for uploading and documenting measurements/reports through Onepacs systems and our EMR system
• Educate patients and families of safe and appropriate testing; thoroughly explaining procedures, answering questions and calming concerns
• Other duties as assigned
