A Registered Vascular Sonographer is responsible for performing non-invasive vascular procedures including but not limited to: Extracranial Cerebrovascular Duplex, Upper and Lower Extremity Venous Duplex, Upper and Lower Extremity Arterial Duplex, Lower Extremity Physiologic Arterial Study, Upper Extremity Physiologic Arterial Study (TOS, Cold), Bypass Graft Surveillance, Dialysis Access Duplex Evaluation, Upper and Lower Extremity Vein Mapping, Abdominal Aorto-iliac Duplex, Mesenteric Duplex, Renal Duplex, Transcranial Doppler (non-imaging). Preparing workload for the day. Good communication skills. Knowledge of computers. Follow established lab protocols and participate in ongoing Quality Assurance as well as ongoing research projects. Participate in a rolling after hours emergency call.
