Coordinates the patient care in conjunction with other departments. Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information. Performs vascular ultrasound procedures for interpretation by physicians. Provides the patient care essential to vascular ultrasound procedures. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and mercy service standards.

Requirements

• Graduated from a school of sonography OR received on the job training by a Preceptor who is registered in Cardiac ultrasound.
• One (1) to two (2) years experience. Credit may be given if experience was received with on the job training by a Preceptor who is registered in Cardiac ultrasound.
• Certification/Registration: ARDMS/RVT or ARDMS/RDCS or CCI/RVS.
• BLS

Nice To Haves

• May perform one or more of the following special procedures: EVLT, RF Ablations, TCD.
• Preferred: Performs all required exams.
