About The Position

Atrium Health Pineville is seeking a Vascular Sonographer to join our team at the Sanger Heart & Vascular Institute. This position is full-time and will primarily focus on performing vascular ultrasound examinations in our Vein Center. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality imaging services, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining equipment. The role requires collaboration with physicians and other healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient care. The Vascular Sonographer will also be involved in patient education and may assist in various administrative tasks as needed.

Requirements

• Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) certification or equivalent.
• Experience in vascular ultrasound preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Vein Center procedures is a plus.
• Bilingual skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform vascular ultrasound examinations on patients.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures.
• Maintain and operate ultrasound equipment effectively.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to provide quality care.
• Educate patients about the procedures and answer any questions they may have.
• Document and report findings accurately.
