About The Position

Welcome to a medical center where you're the center of attention. Overlake Vascular Surgery clinic has an opening for a Vascular Sonographer in the Bellevue and Kirland clinics. Sonographers are responsible for performing diagnostic vascular ultrasounds that include: arotid duplex, upper and lower extremity arterial duplex, aorto-iliac and iliocaval duplex, upper and lower venous duplex, venous insufficiency studies, pre-op vein mapping and hemodialysis access evaluations as well as assisting physicians with diagnostic procedures in accordance with department policy and procedure. Serves as a resource within the department, is a positive contributor, and provides exceptional patient care. Full-time/Days Monday - Friday /10 hours Clinic hours schedule 7am to 530pm

Requirements

AA degree required
ARDMS registry required within 6 months of hire date
Healthcare provider CPR certification also required
Requires 25 - 30 CME credits every 3 years
Exposure to and contact with bodily fluids
Must be able to endure long periods of standing
Manual dexterity is required to operate equipment and to perform patient care

Nice To Haves

BA/BS degree preferred.
Minimum of one year ultrasound experience is preferred.
