About The Position

The Mass General Brigham Heart and Vascular Institute is seeking fellowship-trained vascular medicine physicians to join its expanding vascular services team. The ideal candidate will be board-certified in vascular medicine or cardiovascular medicine with extensive training in vascular disease. This role involves contributing to the clinical, research, and educational mission of the system, participating in educational offerings, and mentoring fellows. An Academic Appointment at Harvard Medical School, at the Instructor or Assistant Professor rank, may be offered commensurate with experience. The position requires active involvement in both outpatient and inpatient evaluation and management of patients with vascular disease, including managing an outpatient vascular medicine clinic at Mass General Hospital's main campus and satellite locations. Requirements

  • Highly qualified fellowship-trained vascular medicine candidates
  • Board-certified in vascular medicine or cardiovascular medicine with extensive training in vascular disease

  • Possess strong clinical and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the clinical, research, and educational mission of the system
  • Participate in regular educational offerings
  • Serve as a supervisor and mentor to fellows in cardiology, vascular medicine, and endovascular medicine
  • Be active in both outpatient and inpatient evaluation and management activities of patients with the full breadth of vascular disease
  • Manage an outpatient vascular medicine clinic at Mass General Hospital main campus and satellite locations
