About The Position

We are seeking a Vascular Technologist to join our team with an E mployment Bonus opportunity for qualified candidates . This Tech will work 4, 10 hour shifts weekly, and be required to take call every 7th weekend and also once each week. Under the direction of a surgeon and/or radiologist, the Vascular Technologist performs a variety of duties, including assisting with special procedures and executing radiographic procedures. Key responsibilities include producing radiographic images for vascular and neurological studies, preparing equipment for examinations, and assisting in setting up sterile trays, drugs, and opaque media for the radiologist and surgeon. The technologist also ensures proper supplies are available, reports equipment malfunctions, and assists in other departmental areas as needed. Additionally, the Vascular Technologist participates in emergency callbacks, is part of the stroke team, follows universal precautions, supports OR X-ray when procedure volume is low, and performs other duties as assigned. Requirements

  • Graduate of accredited school of Radiology Technology
  • Minimum 1 year job-related work experience required
  • KBMIRT at time of hire
  • ARRT within 90 days of hire
  • Vascular-Interventional Registry is required
  • Registry eligible candidates are required to obtain Vascular-Interventional certification within two years of employment. When in house training occurs, employee has 16 weeks of training before their two year period begins where they have to obtain vascular interventional certification.
  • Must have current BCLS certification within 90 days of hire
  • Must live within 30 minute arrival time to the hospital when on-call
