The Vascular Access Resource Nurse is a registered nurse specializing in the placement and management of vascular access devices. Responsibilities include insertion of IV access lines such as PICC lines, midlines, AccuCath, ultrasound-guided peripheral IVs, and care and access of implanted ports. This role serves as a clinical resource for bedside nurses and staff, providing expert guidance, education, and support in the care and maintenance of vascular access devices and peripheral IV placement. Placement of lines: PICC, Midline, Accucath, Peripheral IV , Ultrasound guided IV Other responsibilities: Port Access, Venipuncture assistance, Trouble Shooting, IR collaboration
