Vascular Access RN

The Vascular Access Registered Nurse (RN) at Stanford Health Care Tri-Valley is responsible for providing specialized care in the placement of vascular access devices, including Peripherally Inserted Central Catheters (PICC), midline catheters, and ultrasound-guided peripheral IVs. This role involves assessing patients, collaborating with healthcare teams, and educating patients and families on managing their central lines to prevent complications. The RN practices within the scope of the California Nursing Practice Act and adheres to hospital policies and standards of care.
