Overview: Schedule: Part-Time, Nights 7p-7a, 12hr shifts, Every 3rd weekend with holiday requirement FTE: 0.9, (3)12hr 7p-7a shifts per week Job Description Summary: Inserts and manages vascular access devices for patients undergoing medical treatments. Job Description: Essential Functions: Assesses patients' vascular access needs and determining the most appropriate access device. Cares and maintains peripheral intravenous catheters, midline catheters, and peripherally inserted central catheters (PICCs). Monitors patients' vascular access devices for complications, such as infection, occlusion, and extravasation. Provides education to patients and their families on vascular access care and maintenance. Collaborates with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement vascular access policies and procedures. Requirements

• BSN, required.
• Current licensure as a registered nurse in the State of Ohio, required.
• Clinical skill and knowledge in the nursing care of children including normal growth and development and/or clinical expertise in specialized area, required.
• Effective customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills, required.
• Demonstrated leadership and teaching abilities, required.
• Professionally appropriate analytical and organizational skills, required.

Nice To Haves

• Three years related clinical experience in area of specialty, preferred.
