About The Position

The Communication Consultant - Employee Experience at WTW is responsible for developing and executing communication plans that promote clients' benefit programs. This role requires strong project management skills, effective writing abilities, and knowledge of employee benefits, along with the capacity to present ideas to various management levels. The consultant will work closely with clients to create tailored communication strategies that drive engagement and support organizational goals.

Requirements

  • 7-9 years of internal communication or marketing communications experience.
  • Experience working with benefits, preferably in a benefits consulting or brokerage firm.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to independently support employee communications while collaborating with team members.
  • Expertise in communication best practices across various channels including print, video, web, and social media.
  • Ability to manage multiple clients and projects effectively under tight deadlines.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with creativity and technical expertise.
  • Proven experience presenting in client meetings and at conferences.
  • Understanding of graphic design and the printing process.
  • Strong knowledge of Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Bachelor's degree in communications or a related field; advanced degree preferred.

  • Experience in developing communication plans based on clients' unique employee audiences.
  • Knowledge of trends in HR and benefit communication.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with WTW offices, external clients, and business partners.
  • Create and deliver communication solutions to existing and prospective clients.
  • Consult with clients to develop communication plans that define deliverables, timelines, and budgets.
  • Coordinate communication projects across various media to meet quality, schedule, and budget goals.
  • Create and edit employee communication materials such as brochures and wellness initiatives.
  • Conduct educational seminars, workshops, and webcasts on HR and benefit communication trends.
  • Educate and mentor local WTW colleagues on employee communications and solutions.
