About The Position

~Responsible for all high school volleyball practices, games, camps, etc. ~Conduct structured in-season & out-of-season programs for all levels (grades 5- 12) here at Waldron. ~Help to support & promote growth in all levels of the volleyball program. ~Hire, administrate, & evaluate all volleyball staff (as needed). ~Expected to follow all IHSAA, Shelby Eastern Schools, & Waldron Jr./Sr. High School Code of Ethics.

Requirements

• Excellent communication & organizational skills.
• Lead young student-athletes, coaches, parents, & volunteers in the program & in the athletic department.
• Be a part of the & work within the athletic department and school team - work within the team & be coachable as part of this cohesive group.
• Successful completion of the NFHS required courses per the IHSAA is required.
• Be role model of the program and of the Waldron community.

Nice To Haves

• Successful Varsity/JV Coaching Experience preferred, but not required.
• CPR Certification is preferred but not required.
