About The Position
Springfield Public Schools seeks outstanding candidates for the position of Varsity Head Boys Basketball Coach at Thurston High School. Successful candidates will possess the following qualifications: Previous High School basketball coaching experience; Effective communication skills; Work schedule that allows for flexibility with practice and game schedules; NFHS/OSAA certified and First Aid certified; Willingness to work within the school and athletic guidelines; Ability to organize a complete basketball program grades 9-12; Ability and commitment to practice cultural competency and demonstrate respect for diversity. Fundraising knowledge and/or capabilities; Ability to be District Van Certified; Understanding of OSAA rules and regulations; Ability to work with parents and booster clubs.
Requirements
