About The Position

Our Coaches instruct athletes in the fundamental skills, strategy, and physical training necessary for them to realize a degree of individual and team success. In teaching athletes on a team, this person shall prayerfully help students/athletes learn attitudes, skills, and subject matter that will contribute to their development as mature, able, and responsible Christians to the praise and glory of God. At Nampa Christian Schools, we are teaching and training our athletes to compete with honor, to the best of their ability, and to the glory of Jesus Christ. Competition provides excellent teaching opportunities to build character and perseverance. With teamwork and respect to our opponents, we train our athletes to overcome life's challenges. We are committed to developing the students as a whole in body, mind, and spirit.

Requirements

• Have had prior coaching experience (preferred).
• Hold and maintain CPR and Concussion certification.
• Have a valid Idaho Teaching Certification OR a valid NFHS Coaching Certification

Responsibilities

• Motivate students to accept God’s gift of salvation, and be a Christian witness and role model to them in order to help them grow in their faith.
• Teach and promote the ideals and fundamentals of good sportsmanship supporting the school’s mission statement.
• Be familiar with the school policies and the policies
