SB 848 COMPLIANCE – EFFECTIVE JANUARY 1, 2026 Effective January 1, 2026, and in accordance with California Education Code Section 44051(a)(1), any applicant for a non-teaching position must disclose a complete list of every school district, county office of education, charter school, state special school and diagnostic center operated by the department of education, and private school that the applicant has previously been an employee of, including full-time, part-time, or substitute roles. Failure to provide this information may be considered an act of dishonesty and could affect hiring decisions. Requirements / Qualifications Demonstrates knowledge of the fundamental skills and techniques, as well as the advanced techniques needed for the Sport. Demonstrates successful ability to teach, enforce, advocate and model appropriate behavior, character traits and educational values to student athletes. Demonstrates successful ability to follow the National Federation of High Schools Coaches Code of Conduct and the California Interscholastic Federation Coaches Code of Conduct Requires Sport experience and prefer experience working with youth.
