About The Position
The position involves working as a Classified Support Staff/Paraprofessional at J.G. Johnson Elementary School, assisting classroom teachers and students with special education services across various settings. There are three categories of paraprofessional roles available: School-wide Special Education Paraprofessional, Self-Contained Special Education Paraprofessional, and 1:1 Paraprofessional Special Education Paraprofessional. Each role requires assisting students in different educational environments, including General Education, Resource, and Self-Contained classrooms. The goal is to support teaching staff and students with special needs during the instructional school day.
