About The Position

As the Director of Retail Marketing and Visual Merchandising for the Americas, you will lead the strategic vision and execution of Vans’ retail brand experience across North America. You will oversee the development and implementation of integrated marketing campaigns and visual merchandising strategies that drive traffic, conversion, and brand equity across our owned retail fleet. You will be responsible for shaping how Vans shows up in-store, from storytelling and seasonal campaigns to product presentation and consumer engagement, ensuring consistency, creativity, and commercial impact. This role is pivotal in connecting our brand to consumers through immersive, localized, and culturally relevant retail experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop a high-performing, multi-disciplinary team across Retail Marketing and Visual Merchandising.
  • Own the strategic vision and execution of the annual and seasonal retail marketing roadmap.
  • Drive end-to-end campaign leadership, overseeing the retail marketing calendar.
  • Architect the visual merchandising strategy across all store formats.
  • Serve as a key strategic partner to Global Marketing, Product Merchandising, Store Operations, and Creative.
  • Leverage consumer insights, market intelligence, and performance data to inform strategy.
  • Oversee external partnerships and agency relationships.
  • Establish and monitor KPIs and performance metrics.
  • Act as a senior stakeholder in fleet transformation initiatives.
