About The Position

The Van Driver at Brightpointe is responsible for safely transporting patients to and from medical appointments, as well as moving medical cargo across various locations. This role requires a compassionate individual who can provide comfort and support to patients and their families while ensuring the safe handling of medical equipment and supplies.

Requirements

• CNA Certified
• Prior experience in long-term care
• A valid driver's license
• Clear driving record
• Clear background

• Ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel and the general public

Responsibilities

• Operating a vehicle that transports passengers to and from medical appointments or helps to move medical cargo across locations.
• Lifting patients in and out of bed, chairs, taxis, and ambulances to move them to and from treatment areas and procedure rooms.
• Offering comfort and support to patients and their families.
• Transporting medical equipment, supplies, and laboratory specimens to designated treatment, diagnostic, and patient care areas.
• Communicating with nurses.
