About the position

We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Van Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting passengers or goods to their destinations while providing excellent customer service. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, punctuality, and maintaining the vehicle in good working condition.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a van or shuttle vehicle, ensuring compliance with all traffic laws and regulations.
• Provide exceptional customer service by assisting passengers with boarding and disembarking, as well as handling their luggage or belongings as needed.
• Maintain the cleanliness and functionality of the vehicle, performing routine inspections and minor maintenance tasks.
• Plan routes effectively to ensure timely arrivals at destinations.
• Communicate with dispatchers regarding schedules, delays, or any issues encountered during transport.
• Assist in heavy lifting when necessary, ensuring safe handling of cargo or passenger belongings.
• Document daily activities, including mileage, fuel consumption, and any incidents that occur during transport.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Van Driver, Shuttle Driver, Delivery Driver, or in a similar role is preferred.
• Familiarity with limousine services or commercial driving is a plus.
• Strong customer service skills and the ability to interact positively with passengers.
• Experience in bus driving or operating larger vehicles is advantageous.
• A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required; additional certifications may be necessary depending on the specific vehicle type used.
