Your day as a VAN DRIVER/(CNA-desired) As a Part-Time Van Driver at The Oaks Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center, you will be responsible for safely transporting residents to and from appointments, ensuring their comfort and well-being throughout the journey. Daily tasks will include performing pre-trip inspections on the vehicle, maintaining cleanliness, and adhering to safety protocols. You will be expected to assist residents with boarding and disembarking, providing empathetic support and encouragement. Communicating effectively with healthcare staff and families will be essential to coordinate transportation schedules and address any specific needs of the residents. In addition, maintaining accurate records of transportation activities and promptly reporting any concerns or incidents will be part of your responsibilities.
