Position Summary: Alliance Auto Auction is seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Van Driver to join our Transportation team. This role is responsible for transporting auction customers, employees, or drivers between various locations on auction property and off-site locations. The ideal candidate has a customer-focused attitude, a clean driving record, and a strong sense of professionalism.

Requirements

  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Must be dependable, punctual, and have a strong attention to detail.
  • Able to sit for long periods and assist passengers with limited mobility.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with area is a plus.
  • Previous driving or transportation experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate multi-passenger vans or shuttle vehicles in accordance with company and DOT regulations.
  • Transport customers and personnel to and from designated locations, including hotel pickups, airport runs, and auction site shuttling.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to all passengers; assist with boarding and exiting as needed.
  • Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of assigned vehicles.
  • Accurately complete and submit trip logs and mileage records.
  • Provide drivers with instructions and directions.
  • Follow assigned schedules and communicate with dispatch or management regarding route changes or delays.
  • Ensure vehicle is fueled and ready for each shift; report maintenance needs promptly.
  • Assist during auction days with moving vehicles or directing traffic as needed.
