Drive a van/bus over an assigned route in accordance with time schedule. Transports clients/consumers to designated programs. Adheres to Division Policy and Procedures and maintains discipline on the van/bus. Performs a daily van/bus inspection, completes daily vehicle condition report, prepares daily reports of mileage, records cash receipts, time and client/consumer loads. Maintains van/bus cleanliness, interior and exterior, and fluids levels on a daily basis. Makes pre-trip inspection of vehicle in compliance with state regulations. Regulates heating, lighting, and ventilating systems for passenger comfort. Complies with local traffic regulations. Reports delays or accidents. Carries out proscribed seating arrangements, if applicable. Perform other duties as may from time to time be deemed appropriate by the PCS- Supervisor and as required for provision of program services. Maintains established division policies & procedures, objective, quality assurance, safety, environmental, and infection control standards. Guards the confidentiality of client information from both outside persons and Archway Programs employees whom do not require this information to perform their job functions. All responses should be timely, professional, caring, and respectful in accordance with Archway Programs standards Provide culturally sensitive services that are based on knowledge of cultural diversity to accomplish quality client care.
