Van Driver Job Summary Your main responsibility will be to ensure the safe and comfortable transportation of our residents. As a Van Driver, you'll contribute to the well-being of our community members by providing reliable transportation for various activities and appointments. Requirements

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Ability to operate a passenger van safely and responsibly.
Good communication skills and the ability to interact positively with seniors.
Respectful and patient attitude towards residents.
Physical ability to assist residents with boarding and exiting the van.
Criminal Background Screening is required.
All candidates will be required to show valid proof of full vaccination for COVID-19 before commencing work or commit to obtaining full vaccination within 30 days of commencing work, unless they receive an approved exemption.

Responsibilities

Safely transport residents to and from appointments, outings, and community events.
Ensure the comfort and well-being of passengers during transit.
Assist residents with boarding and exiting the van safely.
Maintain the cleanliness and safety of the van, conducting routine inspections.
Assist in community programs and activities as needed.
Communicate effectively with residents, staff, and community members.
Report any issues or incidents promptly.
Uphold a friendly and helpful demeanor to create a positive experience for residents.
