About The Position

Hands of Heartland is looking for compassionate and caring individuals to join our team and provide support to the individuals we support as a Van Driver.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years old.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Ability to work independently in a fast paced, team-oriented environment.
• Flexible and willing to adapt to change.
• Know the value of communication.
• Desire to support people and encourage them to reach goals.
• Understand the importance of documentation.
• Comfortable driving large van through the Bellevue and Omaha areas.

• Experience not required – we will train you!

Responsibilities

• Transport individuals with developmental disabilities to and from day site locations.
• Assist with loading and unloading of individuals.
• Ensure safe driving practices are followed at all times.
